Call for new board members!

We are now recruiting for the 2017-2018 HBDC Executive Board. A few HBDC board positions can only be filled by students at GSAS, while others are open to all Harvard-affiliated graduate students and postdoctoral fellows (see attached for description of positions). We are looking for motivated and committed individuals who can continue our efforts to build and improve the club that we started a year ago. We now serve a community of over 800 graduate students at Harvard, and hope to continue to deliver high-quality events and grow our community.

You do not need any experience with big data or with HBDC to qualify for a board position. As a board member you will drive data science programming on campus, build your leadership and teamwork skills, and provide an invaluable service to our community at Harvard.
In order to apply, please fill out this online form by 5 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017. Interviews will take place in early May. The appointment is for a full year, from Jun 2017 to May 2018. Position details are described in the attached document.
If you have any questions, please contact hbda-gsas@fas.harvard.edu.
We look forward to receiving your application!
